(ABCG), announced the development and launch of its latest public service effort, Legal Matters, a television program created to address the critical issues facing consumers and businesses in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Currently produced at and cable-casted on Full Channel Television, which serves the East Bay area exclusively, the half-hour program is designed to present a variety of topics, and to provide answers to emailed questions submitted by the viewers on the previously aired segment. Information about Credit and Bankruptcy, as well as Social Hosting Liability and Workers’ Compensation are among the issues the firm’s partners tackle in an informal, question and answer format, assisted by a moderator host.Legal information. Practical solutions. Straight talk. Such is the program’s introduction as much as it is a description of the program’s content. The attorneys offer step by step guidelines into the often cumbersome and lengthy legal process. They provide insights to assist do-it-yourselfers, helping them to negotiate with creditors or through the maze of claims processing. "Since the law firm opened, the partners have played an active role in the community, from providing information to local residents and business groups to hands-on work for charities. This initiative gives us an ideal forum to help many homeowners and small business owners who desperately need it," comments David Bazar, partner and spokesperson on the television program. The program currently airs four times per week on the local access channel, Channel 9, and alternates in various time periods: morning, afternoon and evening to maximize the subscribers’ access to viewing the information. The specific line- up is posted on Full Channel’s Channel 9 Bulletin Boards. Included in the list of timely topics are: Social Security and Disability; Family Law/Divorce, and Landlord and Tenant law.
